By reading this headline, your mind could find himself in a quite challenging situation trying to figure out a proper answer. If your inner dialogue goes something like .” Well, I do not know”, “How do I know?”; “ I am not letting”:” I just had a rough week! “…etc, then you need to start implementing successful weekly practices. Weeks are just 54 segments of the year, so it is important to use those parts for stretching, learning, becoming the best version of yourself. After all, the ultimate goal is to live a fulfilling life.
1.Ask for feedback
Because of limiting beliefs most of the people are afraid to take steps in this direction. However, if you do not ask a question, you will not know the answer and how other people perceive you.
At this point, you can apply self-coaching techniques and improve your results at work, in your relationships and overall performance.
Imagine how would some boss react when an employee comes to him at the end of the week with a question: “Dear Boss, can you please give me a feedback how satisfied you are with my performance this week. At the scale of 1- 10, how would you rate me? “
These questions are entirely above average! They reflect your intentions, reveal your character, set you in a different perception. Moreover, let’s say your boss gave you a rate 7. Your next question should be: “What I need to do to get 10? “ And you will get the answers which will direct you to the success.
These coaching techniques are useful in reverse positions as well. For example, the boss can ask employees for feedback. You have to be willing to receive feedback without judgment. Everyone who applies these techniques with true intentions will increase its skills. If you want to have a better relationship you can do the same. Your wife, husband or partner will be pleasantly surprised. 🙂
2. Remove physical obstacles
Maybe you have already stepped into a self-development world and practiced self-development techniques, but somehow you always fall into a trap and explode on trivial things. ? At work, at house..? If this is true, you need to pay attention to psychical obstacles that trigger your negative reactions. These obstacles are only your unfinished job. For instance, your messy work table, your overfilled wardrobe, broken chair, unread emails, etc.. Basically irritating things which trigger your negative emotion. Every week you need to reflect and question yourself to eliminate those physical obstacles that slow you down.
3. Make a plan for the next week
After you finished one segment, it is time to move to another. Planning the week allows you to be always “on the course” and less under pressure. It only takes few minutes to schedule top priorities for the next week, so don’t miss a chance to make your next week easier and more successful.
